+1 here too.. the only difference that you will need to get used to is that stocking the tank in salt vs. fresh is not measured in the length of fish.. its in the measured by the bioload a fish causes vs the water movement..
Xenia- Tank Stats Size: 2-3 inches Care Level: Easy Temperament: Peaceful Reef Safe: Yes Diet: Strong Light - Medium...
OH HAHAHAH, thanks... didnt look at the OP before the one before me,,, was just in the new stuff, lol
Another option it to make a screen for the top also... if you know how to make a screen for a window its exactly the same, you just have to make sure to get vinyl instead of metal edging...
you may be able to find parts on the BAY.... i have a feeling to try and order a new one it would be as much as a new tank from the manufacturer...
bet you could find a cheap 10g on the LIST.... and use it? (or find someone that wants to trade up with all the equipment with it)
Well... thats a nice tank and stand.. so what all equipment do ya have?? and are you going to drill it or use a HOB overflow to a sump?
a DSB is used through non-disturbed means.. if its disturbed it takes alot of time to get back to the usefullness you want out of it... so you dont want anything that burrows or sifts...
well... i get your point.. but to know if you can have shrimp and crabs you have to know what kind of fish you want to have,,,, even some reef safe 'nice' fish like to munch on them... with that said I guess just get what you want...
spell check only works when a word is completely wrong though, not using the correct grammatical use is a totally different issue..lol
