    Skimmer explanation

Don’t forget there are drawbacks to skimmers. 1) They remove elements from your water very fast. 2) Very noisy. 3) Just another thing to maintain. I am not against skimmers as a mater a fact in your situation I would suggest one. With no corals, polyps, or other inverts that need the nutrients...

    Can I have a cardinal???

I have a coral, and flame in my tank and they have never messed with my JP cardinal. The angles tend to stick to the live rock and swim in and out of its openings searching for something. The cardinal sticks to the open water and just sorta sits there looking cool. But when you put food in...

    New tank algae growth?remove?

Not sure the size of you tank but if you are goin to keep an Anenome you are going to need much more light than a 50/50. The brown algae is part of the cycle process. Once its gone is when the green algae will start. Better get a clean up crew in there before it gets out of control.

    Eel Question

Eels are wonderful fish. They do have a tendency to escape but if you have covers and just a small opening were your skimmer is you should not have a problem since eels shy away from strong currents. Just be sure the eel has a good hiding spot or it will stress out. As for feeding if you get...
