Acclimate just like fish... make sure the temp and SG match the display before gently placing the coral where you want it (hold the rock and try very hard NOT TO TOUCH the coral). I wouldn't glue it into place until I was sure the coral likes that spot, sometimes they need to be moved, and you don't want to have to pry it off the rock. It will be a few days before it blooms, so give it chance and don't mess with it ... they are very stressed when they first arrive. What did you get? Some (very smart) people do quarantine coral, but few people including me, has the kind of lighting a coral needs to be able to do that.
SOME not all coral can be dipped in a coral dip, I really don't know which ones. The coral dip is to make sure no nudibranches or other coral eater are on it that could infect the tank and other corals.
