Alage Scrubber

I made a scrubber as seen on youtube using two black plates one on the inside and the other on the outside, I'm using a grow light bulb for about 16 hours per day. I've had this working for about 3 weeks and I have nothing growing but very little brown on the
screen. my nitrates are way up there. can someone help me with this?

Can you post pictures of what you built? What size air pump are you using?

I'm using a Topfin AIR-3000 two outlet air pump.

Try running the lights 24-7. That's what I'm doing.
