Hey, do anyone know what these black marks/bruises on the side are?

Looks like another fish bit him. Or, he was somehow spooked and scraped on rocks.

Any information regarding its environment would help.

That Tang looks extremely stressed.

the tang is alone in the aquarium with no stones in it or anything to get scraped on.
could it be some kind of flatworm or fluke?
gets fed 3 times a day with brine shrimp/bloodworm/Mysis & nori

You might put some pieces of PVC pipe in the tank so it has places to hide. It will be less stressed. What kind of tang is it.

it eats very well but its still thin.

He will be beautiful. Did he have the marks when you got him.

he didnt have the marks when I got him.
he tries to scratch his head or gills on the glass thats why I thought it was some kind of worm.
I have been using copper to treat him for parasite or diseases.

Can you post a close up picture or describe this in detail. Does it look like something is attached, or does it appear like the flesh is scratched, or worn? Did this develop over time, or appear suddenly. How long have you had this fish? What are your water readings?
