Do I need to QT new live rock

just bought more live rock for my 69gal tank. Do I need to QT for few weeks?

I depends on how long it is out of water and if it was cured at the store. If only out a short time probably not necessary. You'll want to rinse it well in salt water. I've been told that if you put it in hyper salinity for a couple minutes the critters will come out of the rock. you need to remove it after a couple minutes or they will go back in. It gives you a chance to pick out the bad critters and keep the good.
