Protein skimmer

I need a new skimmer. Not looking to spend a fortune. I want to put it in the sump, I don't though have a lot of room in it. Any suggestions as to which ones are easy to use and really good?

I need a different protein skimmer as well that doesn't take up a lot of room. The one I have is driving me nutters, Shame no one responded to you.

I was shocked at how big skimmers are. It depends on the tank size. I'd look at BRS. They tell you what the foot print is. Mine is a reef octopus and barely fits in my sump.

I had a skimz oval sv203 on my last tank and I loved it

With that sump I'd wait till you have it and measure. The skimmer side is 11x12" but the filter sock is taking up a good chunk.
The skimz 123 is more than adequate for a 20 gallon system, might be over kill. I'm looking at it for my 40b.
