Spiral Worms

I am pretty sure that I have identified the things growing on my glass as spiral worms. Is there any way to get rid of them? Are they harmful? They are really hard to scrape off. I just dont like the way they look.

If you are talking about Spirobid worms, they are harmless and will come and go just as quickly.

I think that is what they are. The hard little white dots that show up on your tank. I had no idea they were even alive until I dug around on here for awhile.
