GREAT BAG FOR YOUR BUCK

Pros: Added color and movement, Easy to care for, Inexpensive
Cons: None for myself

These little guys are such a wonderful addition to my own tank, not only for their bold colors, but they are great fun to watch popping in and out between all of the crevases and openings in the live rock as well. Super easy to care for and are very hardy to boot! My tank is a 75 gal. reef tank which also houses corals, mushrooms, anemones, green chromis, a yellow tang, clown fish, sea urchins, an arrow crab, and a variety of snails as well. I would recommend them to anyone wanting added movement and color.

I agree, my yellowtail damsel was one of my first fish and he is absolutely enamored with everything i put in the tank. I do respect that they can be territorial towards their own kind, but aside from that they are harmless. The only problem is it May have eaten my frogspawn...although my nitrate may have been the catalyst to that.
I'd like to have some of these in my tank but I'm affaid to the Dwarf Fuzzy Lionfish I'm gonna put in my tank will eat them so I want to know wheather or not it's a good Ideal ?
I had a dwarf Spotfin Lionfish at the same time as my Yellowtail Damsel and he was never a threat. The only reason i had to get rid of the lionfish was because he started getting really cloudy eyes and i don't have a separate tank that i could have quarantined him in. But from my knowledge you should be good...although asking around a little more probably wouldn't hurt.
These guys, along with all damsels are fiesty little buggers! I have yet to see a tank that was cycled with damsels that kept the original damsels. They can't stand new company and will often harass the new comers and each other to death.
Oh Gosh, Fine fish. Very aggressive at times. Trying to get rid of mine for picking at my 3 $50 Yellow tangs.
Giving my away.................. Anyone want it?
