Once I get home I am going to look around to see if I have anything that I can use. I should be getting a 12 Gallon cube shortly, i.e. today or tomorrow, so hopefully that will help.

Thanks for all the help though, hopefully most of it will make it.

as for water changes you need to be using sw not fw any inverts or corals you do have cannot with stand hyposalinity.its going to keep your nitrates up by killing off other things in your tank.get your sg levels up asap your fish can tolerate the hypo but the rest cannot.at this time your battling more than one issue its a complete circle of events creating new events resulting in the same results as you began with. does that make sense to you?

My tank is starting to level out. I have not lost anything else.
Nitrite NO2 = 0
PH = 8.0
Nitrite NO3 = .5 - 10
Ammonia = .25
Salt = 1.019

Salt is still low, but will gradually bring that up

Water changes helped

Thanks for everyones help

Special thanks to Unleashed

Spiny puffer not in good condition

I bought a Spiny puffer 1 day ago. As I let it into the tank it did very well, was swimming for almost yesterday. Today it's very calm to the bottom, not making any major moves. Don't know what's going on with it. Can anybody help? Thanks.

believe it or not, I found one of these puffers for 12.99 and it was a great size, but I have heard so many horror stories about them not eating, always being stressed out and ect....so I checked to see what type of conditions this fish has been in, and what I did was matched the temperature of my heater to what this fish was in, and now he eats, he swims, he plays, he is great....the temp is 84, i think they love the warmer water....I would suggest trying to raise your temps......it shouldnt hurt anything ...
