Queen Trigger! My LFS has one and I have seen it eat and it is a beast! It squirts water and tries to jump at you when you stand over the tank! The fish is insane!

i just read this "The most dangerous fish in Cozumel, the dreaded Sargent Major! Come close to the male's nest and he will attack even the biggest diver. Pound for pound, more vicious than a junkyard dog! Sargent Major (Abudefduf saxatilis)" not the most amazing looking fish though

Walking Batfish

The walking bat its like an angler in its diet and will eat any fish the fits in its mouth. Its an ambush predator and i believe that there are three kinds. A Longnose, a Shortnose and a polka dot. All are cool but the polka dot one is a little cooler i think. You could house them together as they only eat small fish and they get to be like 15". They prefere dim light but as long as you dont have intense light they should be fine. Also not alot of water flow, they are not the best swimmers. BTW they are not that expensive, they are just not very common in the trade. Add lots of algea such as Halimeda and Caulerpa for them to munch on as well as small damsels. Add lr in a similar fashion t a shark tank so that theres a ton of open space but also alot of hiding spots. If the rock work is flatter its better for the fish.

Longnose Batfish (aka walking batfish): Ogcocephalus corniger

Polka Dot Batfish: Ogcocephalus cubifrons

Shortnose Batfish: Ogcocephalus nasutus

well thats all i got, email me for more questions at Rara7465051@yahoo.com

wow, thanks. do you currently house any of those that you mentioned?
No but i have kept all three for a few weeks as an independant study of their behavior in the florida keys. It was the hard part finding different species an i was only able to get the longnose and the polkadot. Very cool fish IMO.

Well if you mean which is the toughest, strongest fish then that makes sense. But I think that when you say most aggressive, meanest, gruesome that is subjective. I don't think fish are aggressive, or mean, I think fish just be what they are and don't consciously swim around trying to be mean. they behave what is instinctive to them. So by that I would say a Maroon clown, which IMO deliberately harrasses others that he feels threatened by. A maroon clown will chase and attack a trigger and by the way triggers eat mantis shrimp to but a maroon clown will drive the meanest of fish batty and psycho.

Scorpion fish are pretty easy to come by and easy to train to eat frozen krill. We find them all the time when diving in the gulf. Heres one I sold a while back. http://www.saltwaterfish.com/vb/showthread.php?t=239217
