i have a red sponge that int he matter of one day moved itself about 6 inches and attatched itself to a rock. by attatched i mean i cant move the sponge without fear of ripping it, the rock moves with the sponge now. i dotn have pics yet but i can post them later tonight. on the under side of the sponge is a calciferous looking shell that it almost appears the sponge is growing out of. wtf do i have hear?

a perfectly normal sponge, sponges are considered sessile but there are types that can move albiet slowly. not to worry its just a sponge if you give me a decent picture I can try and identify it.
