worse pic ever... but thats it!

What the hell! I'm sorry dude I wish I could help you out, just do water changes for the time being!!! That thing is most definitely toxic though with having such bright colors. My guess is that it's a nudi but finding out what type is going to be hard considering it's one of the most diverse mollusks out there with over 3,000 documented species.

Yeah I as thinking maybe I squeezed it when I took it out of the tank and it released something.

Ya, it sounds like a nudi. You're not going to be able to ID it past that. I've found that all hitchhiker nudis are predatory. Every now and then someone gets an easy to identify benign lettuce nudi. I suspect yours eats coral.

I don't think he's nuking your tank. I would look somewhere else for the cause of that situation.

So I brought the nudi into big als and the guy there said it was  harmless nudi that feeds off algae. Heshowed me a pic of one, and it looked like a darker green lettuce nudi?? He also said that he has them in his tanks once in a while(obviously, since it had to have came from their tanks). I still flushed it down the toilet though lol.

So what's going on with the tank if this nudi is a so called "harmless one"? And have the water changes helped any?

Things still seem pretty bad, but at the same time getting a little better..

Did they offer you a scientific name?

Started with a "e" but I cant remember what it was. But the one he showed me that was in his book was green, he said it was a colour variation? lol

News from Kat's facebook status. His tank is crashing.

YIKES...what's up with it????

He says it's cause he needs new lights? And that the ones he has ordered still have yet to be mailed because they are coming from Montreal and the post workers are on strike or something like that.

Don't buy that.....Lights are not gonna crash a tank (I don't think)

Well last time he posted pics was 6/29 maybe that's due to the light issue? How long would a tank last if you left the lights off (so hypothetically if his lights actually went out)?

The bulbs we have will last a long time....we just change them before they lose any "strength"  (can't think of the word)

hey bro, how the tank coming along :)

I think its the lights.. the corals that need more light are the ones dying first.

I havent changed my light bulbs for over a year, so its most likely the lights! Ive also done massive water changes since the corals have been dying and water arameters are perfect.

Only other thing I can think of is the lights....

The lights are not completely out.. just not giving the right wavelength for the corals to survive I guess.

BULBS STILL STUCK IN MONTREAL! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR......

BUT your tank isn't crashing then....your high lighting corals are suffering

everything is dying now.. all shrooms are dead, 4 heads of FS dead.. xenias dying.. zoas gsp still doing good

but shrooms don't need high lighting
