A couple of tanks I came across today

Think non-photosynthetic coral are something you want to try? Well these tanks have things like automatic syringe feeders dosing a slurry of food multiple times per day. 25% water changes 2x per week because of the amount of food going in. They are doing it right and here are a couple of pictures to prove it!!!

Uhuru's tank from N-R. Blueberry and other gorgs, dendrophyllia, sun-coral etc. etc.

And here is Pieter van Suijlekom’s Non-Photosynthetic Reef.

OMG I LOVE those colors.....

Is that a little bitty orange star on the very left glass of Pieter's tank?

Very cool!

What are they feeding the tank's? I need more food options for my red gorg.

Those colors are exactly why I keep telling folks with low light that they can have an awesome reef tank. I find it amazing the brightest colors belong to critters who love the dark.

Thank you Spanko for sharing. I am going to save these pictures just to show people what can be done.
