I actually ended up with a 55 gallon. lol Another one...

But I needed a stand, and we couldn't find one that worked or fit, AND looked nice. That to me is the MOST IMPORTANT. So this is what we came up with... If you tell me that you like it, Ill tell you what it is... and where is came from. It's was pretty inexpensive to boot, and you can have one of your very own!

It's got 4 very deep drawers and the middle cabinet. It's nice and thick construction, so it's really quiet and the middle cabinet is perfect for my canister filter! There is even a half shelf in there for products!! So happy about this stand!

I have this set up, a 55 in the living room and then I also have the office tank, another 55. Different fish and also different lighting. Also this Living room tank is a canister driven tank, where as the office has an internal overflow and a sump/fuge combo.

lol I go through alot of tanks. But no more. I like these two, and I am sticking with them (until I upgrade the living room to a 90) But then I am sticking with these!

Thank you. I have a very traditional living room so I wanted something that would look like an actual piece of furniture and Would not cost $500.

So we went to lowes and bought a bath room vanity. And the top is the prefab counter that they cut to size for you, and it has the look and texture of like lime stone or marble.

All for under 300 bucks. I think it makes my baby tank look distinguished.

I know this is an old post, but I have to know...how did the vanity hold up to the weight of a 55 gallon over time? It looks great.
