I know its non photosynthetic and its not a sun, but cant remember the name for the life of me please help!

I think it could be a Dendrophyllia

AND after looking in my book, it appears it is in the dendrophyllia family and is an orange cup coral Tubastraea faulkneri

Actually, it does appear to be a Dendrophyllia sp. - not a Tubestraea faulkneri (the 'sun coral')

Probably a jap dendro.  They get much larger then ausies

Well i cant get a thread started so ill add on this one.  I bought a coral online and thought it would be a 55+ head dendro colony.  I think i recieved a sun coral instead.  What do you think.Aussie dendros.JPG
