I just picked up a orange sponge. I put it shaded under rocks to keep it in low light. Anything else I need to do?
Thanks

It needs a strong water current to survive, because it absorbs food from the water that passes through it. Never let it get to open air, it will kill it.

Hard part about the sponge was during transfer home. Had a 1 qt bag but with splashing in the bag I can't be for sure if it stayed completly under water during the ride home. If any part of the sponge dies do I cut away the dieing parts to save the rest?
