List Your Favorite Saltwater Books & Resources

I'm dying to get my hands on more books - I've already seen a few of you reference a book here or there in various posts, but let's make a list of the cream of the crop.  What books did you find the most useful (how-to's, etc)?  The most informative (technical details, chemistry, etc)?  The prettiest (photos!)?  Fish-only, FOWLR, reef specific, etc. Anything else you'd like to add.  I'm planning a trip to the local book store next week, so give me all you've got!

If the list is good enough, perhaps it'll be a resource for new hobbyists for years to come.  =)

I've read this one & found it helpful for a reef beginner:

The Marine Reef Aquarium by Philip Hunt

Marine Reef Aquarium - Philip Hunt

The Conscientious Marine Aquarist by Robert M. Fenner

Aquarium COrals, Selection, Husbandry and Natural History.. BY Eric Borneman

Marine Fishes BY Scott W. Michael

Algae, A Problem Solver Guide   BY Julian Sprung

That's all that I have...and I think all of them are worth it

I've read all that is listed so far. All excellent books.

So I'll add:

Marine Invertebrates (PocketExpert Guide) by Ronald L. Shimek

Reef Life by D. Nielsen Tackett and L Tackett

The New Marine Aquarium by Michael Paletta

Aquarium Keeping and Rescue by Carl DelFavero

Reef Fishes (volumes 1-6) by Scott W. Michael

Reef Secrets by Alf Jacob Nilsen and Svein A Fossa

If you're thinking about breeding fish:

The Complete Illustrated Breeder's Guide to Marine Aquarium Fishes by Matthew L. Wittenrich <-- great book, almost all the books I listed above came from the suggested readings in the back of this book. Very useful information

I own this book, and although it's helpful, I've found much better books out there. I do love the pics in this book though, LOL    I just think it's a little tedious in the way it's written
