Cyano on rocks and blue algea in sand HELP - Page 2

I'm using phos-zorb in my filter it has brought my phosphates down to almost 0. My LFS told me to try algae-fix by API. I haven't tried yet trying less time on lights and more water changes so far it hasn't helped.

Kill your lights for a few days until the cyano dies off.  then resume with shorter duration.

Then try to find a light duration where the corals, macros, corraline thrive but cyano does not.

It's okay to leave the light off for a couple days with the corals? I thought I couldn't do that.
