i have been reading up a lot on what bulbs to get and looking at tanks with different t-5 lighting set up's and the bulbs they are running. i was thinking about getting the ati 6x80 fixture with 2-blue+,2-blue special,and 2-pro color bulbs but i was also thinking about putting a uvl super actinic in place of one of them which one should i replace if i do?

do not get the pro color. you will regret it if you cant get your sps to color up. i only find them to be nice in zeo-fed tanks.

go for 4 blue+, 1 kz new generation, 1 kz fiji purple

well no matter where u get the ati fixture from there is a 150 shipping fee on top of the 730 and i can get the nova extreme for 579 w/free shipping and plus the nova is a full 72'' and save me 300$ all i have is lps and some easier sps. i was really thinking the ati until i seen the 150 shipping charge so im not for sure now so many options! lol

yea deffinately when i can get another fixture for free shipping! but i wanna get the right one1 i still got 12 days to think about it lol

the blue+ will give you all the actinic look you need. the 150 charge is still cheaper than the times youll be paying 300 a year on bulbs

i found a place to get the ati 6x80 watt fixture for $615 without bulbs and free shipping, so on the 21st tuesday ill b ordering itim going to order my bulbs from reef geek im gonna trust what nike says and get the 4xblue plus,1xkz new generation,and 1xkz fiji purple the total comes to around $785 which is almost $100 cheaper than i could find any where else!!! AND THATS MY FINAL ANSWER!! LOL  so hopefully next weekend i'll have my lights

YAYYYYY....and The bulbs on 2 of my tanks are Nike's suggestions.....so IMO he gives good advice

ok i lied i didn't get the ati, i went with the current pro, i think with how deep my tank is(18'') i'll be more than fine. plus with the full 72'' fixture there will b no shadows or missed spots on the end. and i also ordered a ricordea pack and a chalice frag from swf with the money i didn't spend on the ati fixture. if anything i will slowly change the bulbs if i don't like them

no lights yet but my corals come tommorow around 3. it says my lights haven't even shipped yet im hoping 7-10 days at the most

just got my corals from SWF the ricordeas are smaller than i thought.hopefully they will get a lil bigger when they get used to the tank. and i've never saw a chalice in person before it looked a lot better in the picture so hopefully they wil all start opening up and lookin better but overall i am still happy with them! and hopefully everything will improve when i get my new lights
