coral beauty and ick

How do you treat a coral beauty angel when they are sensitive to cupermine?  I started the treatment yesterday.  Doing a half dose.  He was fine yesterday and today he's swimming on his side and acting really weird.  I have tried to hypo coral beautys in the past and lost them while lowering the salinity.  I have been successful with cupramine in the past but not with angelfish.

Thanks!

I have treated a dwarf angel before with cupramine.  I did not use a lower dose.  Personally, I think more people lose fish during treatment for Ich with either cupramine or hyposalinity because they do not have well cycled Hospital Tanks and they get an ammonia/nitrite spike that the already sick fish can not handle.   I know your thread is over 12 hours old...how is he/she doing?

He/She died. I was really bummed.  The tank is extremely well cycled.  Params are checked daily and other than the nitrates being at 20 a week ago, all has been fine.  I do regular water changes as well.  The fish was doing great.  Then the day after I put in the 1st dose of the cupramine it started swimming on it's side.  This has happened before with another coral beauty I had and with a flame angel.

I have done both hypo and cupramine in the past with various fish and have only had problems with angels and with one of my yellow tangs.
