Octo at LFS

I really dont like my LFS, but alas, I needed water. So I am standing at the checkout counter and I look at the 14 gal biocube she has set up and sees she has an octo in it. Not a small octo mind you. She must have seen me looking at it and went to get some shrimp out to feed it. She had some ugly cave decoration in there for it to hide in. It wouldn't come out so she shoved her hand in there to picked up the deco and used her nasty long fake fingernails to push it out of its hiding place. I felt so bad for it, I secretly wished it bit her. anyway, I told her I loved octos but would never be comfortable enough to keep one. She then told me I needed no experience to keep them. I just needed a small tank and CC so I can vacuum the substrate. I feel bad for that octo, whoever buys it probably won't be able to properly take care of it. I hate when they give bad advice just to try and make a quick buck. Just needed to vent :D

Just gained some cool points. I can just imagine you standing there with the disgusted look on your face, as she went to town on the tank...

Lmao, I was so grossed out. I couldn't believe she was her hand in that tank prodding that poor creature with her talons.
