Sadly ours died last week (pump malfunctioned and caught fire which had a domino effect of other water issues). He would hop along the front of our 200 gallon tank, loved to race back n forth....

We have a midas blenny in our tank and sometimes when i stick my hand in there he nibbles too. I think he is just assuming it is time to eat, and is usually just looking for some food :)

He might be trying to clean your arm and hand off. My cleaner wrasse does this everytime I put my hand in my tank. He will just pick at my arm and hand cleaning it for me.

He's trying to clean your. He associates you putting something in the tank with feeding time, so your hand is basically a food source for him.
I had a wrasse that used to do this to me. I started putting the net in the tank and chasing him around. He got scared of the net. So then every time I needed to put my hand in the tank for something, I put the net in first. Straightened him right out.

My lawnmower blenny used to do the same thing. Usually scared the crap out of me cuz i wasn't looking for her, i was looking for my clown who was also biting (painfully). Blen just got used to eating out of my hand and associated it with food and i guess figured "maybe i just can't see the food so i'll give a little taste!" cracked me up!
