Different people have different opinions on this one.  Some people really go all out and change them every 6 months, others let them go until they die.  Personally on my own tank as well as the tank at the office, we change them out every year and that is what I would recommend for both. 

Does anyone have some links to the actual bulb manufacturers? it's like they don't want to be found, sheesh.

do i need a t-d5 light? lol i heard it was storong O.o might causes hair to grow more

It all depends on what corals you are planning to keep. Some corals will do just fine under Power compacts (PC's), others need stronger lighting likeT-5's and metal halides (MH)

what kind of light are for frogspawn then loloololol

Frogspawn will be fine under PC, T5, halides, and LED.

i found some T-5 are my lfs but im too poor to buy them ._. it was 86$!!!!! ._.
