Well idk if there is another thread on this but i tried looking and no luck, so i have a 145 gallon tank that is going to be salt pretty soon. I bought a 55 gallon tank for a refugium to have a sand bed and some rubble in it and get me some detritius eaters in there. I would also like to make a copepod colony with the live rock rubble. I was curious in how would the copepods get into my main tank if they might get chopped up in my pump thats returning to the tank

They are real small and the pump will just suck them through.
