Any snail will eat algae on the glass.

FYI some really helpful info for you:

MY is spelled M Y not meh, I see you manage to spell like an adult on other posts. Hi is simple H I why add the, A? It isn't a typo because the letter A is across the keypad from the letter I. If you hold the shift key when you type it makes that letter capital, so when you spell the word I it is not i.

If you apply yourself, you may even get people to answer your posts because they will know what you are asking.

I am glad you mentioned that Flower, about spelling ME like meh. Makes me not want to answer your posts. Drives me CRAZY!!

astrea are good snails, I have about 30 in my 75 gallon, only because there is a lot for them to eat in my tank. And I have 1 mexican turbo.

k i found out im using Nassarius Snail s how many should i get? i heard they big and live for a long time :3

Nassarius snails live primarily in the sand. they eat things in the sand like leftover food. Those probably won't do much for your alagae on your glass since they eat meaty things not green things.

You could try some turbo snails or maragrita snails for the glass.

P.S. the Nassarius snails are great to have though

P.P.S. I'm really enjoying being able to understand your posts in the last two you've posted in this thread, makes it much easier to reply to.

Also, there are two different kinds of nassarius snails that ive seen.

the Tonga are the larger (might also be called a butterscotch)
and then there are the much smaller ones, called vibex.

So depending on if you have the really big ones or the really small ones will certianly determine how many you need for your sandbed.

:/ how many turbos should i buy then?  and if my lfs dont have turbo then i will buy Nassarius Snails  :) about 5-10 if them depends how much lol i have 60$ :3 been saving up ! next goal! powershead! :3

powerheads = must have

Snails = would like to have

get the powerheads first

as for the snails I'd say 3-4 turbos or 20 maragritas would be fine.

The turbos are awesome grazers but tehy can knock over corals if you don't have them glued down.
