i have a female ocellaris clown that i bought about ten months ago and she is still that color. Healthy and as bossy as can be! :-)

It's called hyper-melanization. It's normal. From my experience, the female is usually slightly darker in color.

Are you positive it's an ocellaris and not a percula, I can't tell from the picture.

yup just about positive.  They are tank bred occ clowns...the male is the one that is much much darker.  He is almost half the size of the orange female(cant really tell from the picture though)
