I was agreeing with you 100% but if you should have a lasseration or an already infected area and do a dip in your tank........ chances are you may not get an infection, but are you willing to test that theory? Did you recently start wearing your shoulder length gloves?

Be an interesting thread.

hell no LOL. i started recently wearing shoulder length gloves for a different reason. i'm also a motor enthusiast and work on cars along with my friends alot. i wear the gloves to keep those contaminants out of my tank. i'm also a biology and business administration double major and having taken microbiology, it made me realize how small of an entrance germs need to cause serious health consequences

here is my spiel on Palytoxins.

http://forums.saltwaterfish.com/forum/thread/245173/the-truth-about-palytoxins

I don't and can't possibly see the need for trapping and poisoning an animal just to prove something that has already been proven. I cannot condone this act of near barbarism. It is an insult to life in general. if you want them dead then use a poison designed for it. in a humane manner. smearing mucous on a piece of cheese may or may not be enough to kill the rat. if its not all you have achieved is animal cruelty.
