Shrooms are softies right? What or how does a mushroom reproduce? I think I have a baby shroom next to my mushroom.

Yes they are.  You can cut a mushroom at the base or cut it in pieces and it regenerates.  It also moves its foot and leaves part of it behind.  It just starts to stretch and a small part of the foot breaks off (for a lack of a better way to explain it).  The little piece of the foot left behind grows a new mushroom.  It is interesting to watch it grow from a little glob to a small, formed mushroom.
