Another weekend at the track

My wife and I did some track riding this weekend again.  It was a really hot day and the bikes were sliding a bit but a fun day.  This guy lost it and high sided about 120 mph right in front of my wife and she caught it on film.  Really bad place to pass on the inside with a 130+ MPH turn coming up.

This guy didn't fare too well either.  I've never seen them pick up a bike in a front end loader before.

The whole front broke off right at the weld.

One of my laps I pulled off my video.

It was a fun weekend and I brought it home in one piece this time.

Way too hot to be in the wrong line.  My wife was in the race line to apex the turn which is a turn you don't pass in.  He panicked and hit the brake which is the worst mistake you can make.  I've hit that corner on the inside of the race line and the best thing to do is just throw it to the left, lean over the forks off the left side the bike a bit to make the front tire bite and hook into the corner to make it.  It's scary and your mind is screaming at you that  you can't make it but these bikes will far exceed what you brain tells you is possible.

He was banged up and went to the hospital.  I know he broke his collar bone which is very common in a crash but not sure what else.  He was very lucky.  I've watched people fly out in life flight on what looked like a lot easier crash.
