I have Red Slime in My Refuguim .

i have  a Fuge in the middle of my sump and it has many huge plants growing all over the place but just as i bought some new plants and putting some IRON in it red slime started to kick in and its spreading all over the plants , its only in the FUge but its growing and my PO4 is almost 0 and my lights are 2 new yellow T8 flourecents .i run my fuge opposite of the main lights , amy ideas ???

Put a PH it it for more water movement - I had the sameproblem in mine.

i have 2 320GPH power heads in it and the chillers out hose in coming in the fuge so the water movment is ok  i think . do i need more ??? i can go for another 500GPH

Red slime in a refugium is fine, as long as it stays there and isn't smothering the macro from getting enough light
