There are 2 true percula clowns at a lfs and one has a tiny bit of black in it and the other one is smaller but dosent have any black. What do you guys suggest I go for?

I knew someone was going to say that. I like them both the same lol. What one looks more pure breed? haha

The one that is blacker is just more mature, as the smaller gets larger it should also get more black coloring. If you're concern is that it be a percula and not an Ocellaris, go with the larger one with more coloring. Do you already own one?

Hey not sure what you mean by this " If you're concern is that it be a percula and not an Ocellaris"

but yes I already own a clown fish but it looks like this

the one at the lfs looks like this

http://www.saltwaterfish.com/True-Percula-Clownfish--Wild-from-Bali-_p_5285.html

So I was going to trade mine in for store credit for the true percula. What do you guys think I should do, and if they do give me store credit how much would be fair?

I have an Ocellaris that came with the tank when I bought it.  Personally I like the looks of the A.Percula's a little bit better.  I'd like to do a nano one of these days with just a pair of Picassos.

Well, technically there is no such thing as a "false" or "true" percula, even though many stores label them as such. A false percula is an Ocellaris. A true percula is just that, a percula. They are actually different species of clowns. A percula has more black coloring than an Ocellaris.

An even trade would be fair.
