In your (meaning everyone's) opinion, what is the best brand of coral food for LPS?

100% live, Home grown phytoplankton, cultured to perfection.

Then there's the alternatives...

DT's chilled phyto

Oyster eggs

Home made shrimp/scallop/oyster mixes etc.

I gotta try that someday, but until then, I like Rod's Coral Blend and Reef Science Plankton (live cultures).

+1 (HI MX)     for example I feed the duncans and bubble coral pieces of scallop

BUT I also use this a couple of times a week broadcast in the tank\

+1 rods coral blend....i love it!

+1 i also like h20 brand as well but try to stick to rods, and pe mysis....

i mix it all together and make my own cubes!

I feed my duncan heads, galaxy, frogspawns, acan, and my trachy the pe mysis every now and again! They should grab hold of it!

So I should feed LPS larger food items but also phytoplankton?

Should I mention that you shouldn't feed just one type of food, but a variety?

large pieces of food like home made blends, enriched brine and mysis are great for feeding LPS, and the phyto fills in the gaps between other feedings. :D just a theory.
