i am lookin for a good skimmer thats not so big i have around a 10''x8'' spot in my sump. i was looking last night and all i could really find that looked like it was worth a crap was the coral life super skimmer rated for 220 gal and the footprint was 6x8''. the other option i was thinking about was putting the skimmer out side my sump and put the feed pump in the sump and plumb it in like that. i would like a skimmer thats rated for quite a bit more than my water volume

i found a tunze doc 9410 skimmer, rated for up to 264 gal and the footprint is basicly 10''x5''. so i think this is the one. it's twice as much as the coral life super skimmer but as far as i know tunze makes quality stuff. i know for a fact thier powerheads are bad a$$.
