MY Clowns laid eggs!!!!! - Page 2

There is no such thing as a false or true percula. They are made up terms form local fish stores that have just stuck. The two varieties are A. percula and A. Ocellaris.

FUNNY.....I looked up the A.Ocellaris and it stresses how they are anemone dwellers.....WTH is wrong with mine....LOL...I have 2 LARGE BTA'S    Right under thembrickwall.gif

I agree with the fact that there are only Ocellaris and Percula clowns, there is no such thing as a "false percula". For me that is one thing I could care less about though.

So you're saying you do care 26.4 percent.  That's a lot of caring.

There are a lot of variables, temp, food, environment.  In my experience it has been about 1.5 years for males and about 2 years for females.  That is not a national study though so your results could differ significantly.

That's been close to the time frame for mine.

Good thread my black clowns just laid eggs - first time I've noticed. I had the same problem with my clowns not hosting and someone told me to print out a picture of a clown in an anemone and tape it to your tank as close as you can to your anemone. And it took about 4 days but they moved in and have never left.
