You might want to mess with your white balance on the camera. But it looks good!

Parameters? Are they stable? Temp? Flow? I'd leave it alone and let it adjust itself.

im testing now to give the most current stats. so far i have 80.8 degrees and magnesium at 1120.. flow is prob quite high and if anything the bottom of the piece is getting the most movement... nothing direct. testing alk and calcium now

dKH 8.4

calcium 410

ph - 8.2

ammonia -0

nitrite - 0

nitrate - 0

phosphate .03 - this could be from me the other night re-doing my aquascape till 4am!!!! im running some rowa

I know that my alk is low and have been slowly raising it over the past 10 days. i fugure i have another week before i get right.. same goes for the magnesium...im changing my salt once i get rid of this batch of oceanic...

im more concerned that its becuase of too much light from what it was getting at the fish store or too much flow..... id hate to break off the rock

The monti doesn't look any better, actually it is worse. Should I break off the piece that is bad to try to save it or let it be and hope for the best ?  It sucks because my encrusting monti is thriving and never have seen its polyps out before yestarday. Any help would be appreciated

Glad to see some corals in your tank.  As far as the monti goes, I don't have an answer for you.  Perhaps it is just getting used to your system  shrug.gif  Try not to mess with it too much.

I'm happy to announce the orange monti is recoverying nicely. I do think I'm out of the woods he but it did get worse before it got better Unfortunatly I broke off the piece that was not happy so now I have two small pieces.

There's a photobucket app for the iPhone that I used to use.  I think it's easier just to connect the phone to the computer and upload that way.  Looking forward to seeing the new goodies!
