Thinking about buying a birdnest coral but want to know your reviews on it ?

Great coral.  Did best for me with intense light and intense waterflow.

I love birdsnests. Like most SPS corals, they require intense light, intense flow, and great, stable water quality.

And are really fast growers under the correct conditions.

They are about as hardy and forgiving as any other SPS coral. If you can, buy an aquacultured one that's 6 or 7 generations away from being wild captured.

One caution.  When they grow rapidly in a less than turbulent waterflow they grow so thick that they shade their center and the middle of the colony can die off.  I believe they are meant to be fragged often so even though a huge mother colony looks great, parse it out to several smaller colonies.
