I've decide to add a flame angelfish and Lionfish and snowflake Eel in my tank so with one should I add first and last.

sorry to say this, but I wouldn't add the angel or it's going to be an angel. The lion will eat it. I've seen some of these lions and add a large clownfish at the clown would be gone the next day

Really, I seen in a LFS a flame angel in the tank with a lionfish, but you don't think its good Ideal Huh ?

No, I agree with Orca T. Definitely not a good idea. The reason you've seen them in the same tank together is because you've seen them as babies together. Once they grow up, the angel will become lunch for the lion. I see you like aggressive fish... so I think a lion and moray would be OK together... and maybe a small grouper..... or small puffer.

I believe you should PM Saxman about this. He seems to be the expert on the lions. I have a close freind who has had Lions for years and loves them. He is one of the only people that can care for these hard to keep fish. He has had a blue or black footed lion for nearly six years now and from my readings they are difficult to keep. He is the one that a lion ate is clown fish, full grown. He went to the aquarium and saw the tail sticking out of the larger lions mouth! Talk about a rude awakening. he had fish just disappearing. A goby of some sort, damsels, one angelfish (dwarf).

I would ask Saxman persoanlly.

Well I have got suggestions from Saxman, and he has given me a list of different fish that I can put in the tank as tankmates, I guess I'm being hardheaded, but I'll look into the fish he gave me it's my wife that wants the FlameAngelfish because she likes the color but I guess she'll never see it in our tank, Lol, so thank you

Not to derail, but I'd LOVE to hear more about this.  Tank size, tankmates (if any), water parameters, esp. temp, and feeding (what, how often?).

Saxman I looked the at the choices you gave me and I really dont like any of them, and you say theres a lot of possibilities whats some more ? mind I would like some color to bring out the tank.

Don't get anything that is a fin-nipper (puffers, triggers, etc) or less than about 3" or 4" depending on body shape (cigar-shaped, long/thin fish...think of slurping "spaghetti").  It's hard to pick fish for other folks as we all have different tastes.  The other thing is you need to shop for fish according to your "loss tolerance"...how upset will you be if something gets eaten or doesn't work out, and always have a "Plan B" if something goes south.

 

We keep a trio of Odontanthias borbonius (blotched anthias), and have kept bristletail filefish with our small lions and scorps, but I know unless you find an awesome deal (we did), the anthias can run a couple hundred each.  Anthias are pretty colorful fish, and many would be fine with a dwarf lion, but you need to be sure if you want to get "multiples", that you get a species that won't kill each other off.

 

The "blotchies" are pretty great-looking fish tho...

personally not a fan of damsels...they may be hardy fish and sometimes gorgeous but tend to be a nuisance for tank mates.
