reef keeper problems

I've had my RKL since christmas and the screen went out on it. it still is lit, but no display. everything is working well.

Anyone had any warranty type stuff with digital aquatics? Or happen to know if I can get the screen to work again somehow? Wishfull thinking....

Can you still access it via web?

I'd check the other forum, I'm pretty sure they have a dedicated thread or link, and the problem has probably been encountered before.....

I did, but it said not to ask hose type of questions in the forum in respect to the manufacturer.

I e-mailed them and they replied back quickly that I can buy a new head unit and once that arrives I can send the old one back and get a refund so I don't have any down time or I can send the one in and wait for it to ship both ways and get processed.

Depending on how much a new unit is I think I'd like to buy a new unit.

Overall I'm pretty happy with it though. it still works fine even though the screen is shot. But without the screen it's not all that effective, just a glorified timer. Hopefully they don't get it and say it was mal-use or something. My fish room is a damp environment, but I'd assume that most places these things go would fall in that catagory. Certainly most fish stores I've been to are pretty humid.
