Peppermint and Fire Shrimp

I've had a Peppermint Shrimp and Fire Shrimp for about 3 days now... they both found a nice cave/crevice area and have yet to leave those areas since they were put in 3 days.

 

Is this normal for these guys?

never owned pepps but thought about getting some for a tank with a fire shrimp in it! Do urs get along? How many of each do u have?

I know that my fire shrimp stays hidin most of the time, besides his white anntena. He comes out to eat though so as long as hes eating..! yummy.gif

1+ Shrimp are kinda a delicacy around many places (Don't believe me, bring a bag over to my home), especially in the ocean. They fine them selves a nice place for cover from the predators.
