koran angel changing

I have had my Koran angel for about a year and a half now.  She started changing normally by loosing the bars and beginning to turn yellow.  Lately she has lost color in her face in a very strange looking way.  Is this normal or should I be worried?  She acts healthy and my tank tests show everything at good levels.

Can you post a picture of your angel?  Does not sound like everything ok.  Take a look at this topic.

That is definitely HILLE go to top of this form Beth has a very good article about HILLE. I also looked at your profile and I know you want the best for your fish long and health life. The Koran and the tangs will not have a long and healthy life in the 75gal tank. Right now your fish are small but when they grow that 75 gal. will be very crowded and wont handle the bio load. Please reconsider the choice of fish.

I agree that there is definitely HLLE, but I am inclined to think that there is a possible bacterial infection to compound the situation.

I AM TRYING TO DO RESEARCH FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO POSTED THAT.  I HAD THIS KORAN FOR 18 MONTHS WITH NO PROBLEMS WHAT SO EVER.

It is several months later.  What is the status of your fish?

 

Trust me, with doubt, this fish did have head and lateral line erosion (HLLE).

the koran has showed no change with the medications we have added but my sail fin tang's line has almost completely healed.  What would you suggest?
