so i found a nudi this morning when my tank lights clicked on....usually i dont see my tank till afternnon time when i get home from work....but today im waiting for the lights to click on and sure enough...click lights on and nudi chillin right on the top rock area...

I go to pluck him out with tweezers and i ripped off some of his "leaves" off his back! Is it going to die and bomb myy tank u thinks? It was reddish rust color.... i also think ice got some eggs...its a small circle, looks like a white doughtnut kinda

ya im sure hes not good and i flicked the eggs off the polyp! Hes about the size of my pinky finger nail! Iam so done with hitchhikers! ERrrrrr

Im deff gonna order dry rock i think for my next tank.

When i went to pluck him though i pulled a couple of those things off this back...think itll die and bomb my tank? hot.gif

The trouble is lots of things also come in on your corals, so dry rock isn't always the answer to the hitchhiker issue.  The nudie should be OK as long as you didn't mutilate it too badly (but one little nudie dying won't nuke your tank anyhow).

The problem with nudi's is that they all aren't pretty. sometimes you get some big fat one's. Sometimes their hairy too. Most nudists though, are peaceful creatures who spend their days laying on the beaches.

Your nudi shouldn't nuke your tank. Good find though.

Dood...you're correct!  Take it from a guy who's had a gig at a nudie camp for the past 20 years...

I must admit, these peeps LOVE to have fun and are up and dancing from the first song to the last. No, we don't play naked, the next biggest question is "do ya need a roadie?"
