I have the best cage it's a clear square box with a string attached to the door that lifts up.Put food in the back wait...  the fish you want to catch gets into it,close the door.No stress on either part.Works like a charm.Good luck to you.:)

It's been 6 days since I started the Metafix treatment and see no difference in my Tang,doing a 25% water change,hope I can help him.I've had him over 4 years.:(

And this quote makes no sense to me. High nitrates are the result of inadequate bio or mechanical dinitrification.  The time fame in which organics brake down to nitrates will be harmful only if they break down to nitrates faster than you achieve dinitrification resulting in high nitrates

Well my Tang is doing Great,took your advice and started feeding  more and I removed the rock blocking his den.No sign of the red stuff on him. Thanks for the advice wave.gif

Also I might add, I dont't believe the Metafix did anything.Should've saved my money.
