the 55 is empty in the storage room(i moved), thought a 29 gallon was more apropriat for my parents house, not a whole lot of space for large tanks. The stand is to small for the tank, the tanks just a bit too long lol But its a wood stand and capable of holding it im shure. It sits on it fine.

I'm not sure if I would use that stand...

I've set up square 30g tanks with only two sides supported, but they sprung leaks really easily. I would suggest getting a little piece of plywood cut and painted and screwed down to the top of the stand. I'de even go so far as to add a piece of styrofoam just to make sure any imperfections are leveled out. But, it's up to the aquarist. :D

better yet id put a 2x4 under the tank on that side!

Tank looks good.  I'm kind of partial to the background, myself.  Agreed with the others.  Personally I'd ditch the stand for that tank.  Leaving the sides hanging over the edge is a sure fire way to wind up with the tank failing along the joints.  The plywood will help, but really you want all 4 corners and sides to be perfectly supported.  Otherwise you're taking a bit of a gamble.

Yep. I still don't think you should use that stand. But, use what you got. I'm sure you will be moving out again soon enough.
