I'll repay for shipping plus expenses.  The wild girl is showing EBD on her tail, and it's messing with her balance a little.  I'm setting up my hospital tank tomorrow, but I'm caught with my pants down.....no Diamox. If you have some to spare, let me know and I'll send you my address, along with a thousand thanks....

Whew.....OK, Lois, false alarm (But a million thanks and hugs for the offer!)

Well, not a false alarm....she still has GBD on her tail.  But my wife is the practice manager of an oncology clinic down here, and she's going to have one of the doctors call in the rx tomorrow morning so I can pick it up after work.  If for some weird reason he doesn't want to call it in, I'll pm you my addy....

I know that this is a little of topic, but how does Diamox, a medicine used to treat glaucoma, treat GBD in SH?

EGBD is thought to be produced by an error in the hydration of carbon dioxide to carbonic acid by the enzyme carbonic anhydrase.  Diamox is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor.  EGBD is a symptom of an underlying problem, but the diamox helps provide some immediate relief.
