Hey guys on Monday I will be making my way to a local town that has some great reef stores. Im out to find a toadstool and a bubble coral but want to know if my setup is qualified. I have a 120gallon starphire tank 48x24x24, 4 48" t5's and a 250watt mh hqi. The tank is about 7 months old and I havnt lost anything in it yet. I currently have hammer coral, duncans, xenia's, zoas, and all are doing great. If any other info is needed let me know. Thanks

Sadly ours died last week (pump malfunctioned and caught fire which had a domino effect of other water issues). He would hop along the front of our 200 gallon tank, loved to race back n forth....

All I can say man, is do it and see what happens. Unfortunately, there's no real way to determine if a coral is definitely going to make it in our home aquariums or not - just have to try and see. If everything else is doing well and staying happy and healthy and your lighting is what is required, then go for it.

You should be fine. Just make sure the bubble coral is healthy before purchase, many people have trouble with them. They can be hard to transport as well. I've watched salesmen damage them just by taking the out of the tank too roughly, they have very sharp skeletons.
