Ok my ammonia is at 0 and nitrites are at 0 nitrates are at around 40ppm.  Still doing nothing right?

Well it's all cycled the nitrates are at 20 ppm but apparently that's ok for fowlr. The survivors are 3 hermit crabs (and a baby that just showed up) 2 pajama cardinals, 6 snails, an emerald crap and the derasa clam. I want to go get some clean up crew additions. LOL.  Most people in SW don't like the look of fake plastic plants.  I would remove them, but hey, what ever floats your boat man.

I hear you, but my wife likes plants so we get plants. Unless they are going to kill things, they are staying

Maybe we could get someone on here to say that they are bad for the tank... Then you can take them out.  LOL.

Exactly!!!!

 

The fish and other critters seem to be fat dumb and happy. Even the clam seems to be growing despite only having a wussy LED. I am trying to get a brighter light but just dont have the funds.
