What are these clear tubes?

I've noticed recently on a piece of tongan branch rock some clear tubes. There's a little cluster of them and I have no idea what they could be?? About a month ago I took that piece of rock out of the aquarium and put it in a bucket of saltwater. I kept it in the dark for about a week and then scrubbed it with a tooth brush to get rid of some hair algae that was growing on it. I put it back in the aquarium and some of the hair algae has recently been growing back as well as these clear tubes. Any ideas of what they could be?

I googled 'cryptic sponge' and couldn't find any information. I'm glad to hear they are harmless though. They look pretty cool :)
