Onyx and Picasso Clowns

Thread Starter

Has anybody tried to put 1 onyx clown and 1 picasso clown together? I've decided to go with one onyx and one picasso and put them alone in my 34 red sea max...just posting to discuss whether this is a good idea and if anybody wouldn't mind sharing a picture of theirs if they had any. Thanks!

Not a good idea. Picasso's are A. percula and Onyx are A. ocellaris.

As long as they're both Percula they should be fine.

I believe the fish commonly called Black Percula are often A. ocellaris so be sure of what you are buying.  To BTLDreef's point, your best chance of success is with two Clownfish of the same species.
