Below is a video of what my skimmer is doing. I never seen one in action so i am not sure if its working as intended or not. It sounds like its starving for air and the inconsistent air is causing that pulsing that is not making the bubbles foam up. I could also be 100% wrong! :)

Seaclone skimmer? Mine had the same problem.

I'm not sure about what the problem is... but... Seaclone's are pretty poor quality skimmers known to have problems... Acrylic51 (Shawn) and (forget his screenname... Lol) (Corey)... could probably help with the issues.

How old is the skimmer?  I have had a few Seaclones, and none ever made that much noise....LOL....you do have a nice tornado goin on in the bottm section though....BUT I think you have too much air;.......where is the adjuster knob that goes on that flex hose?????
